Nakhon Ratchasima

The Nakhon Ratchasima province is located in the lower northeastern region of Thailand. It is often called Khorat, or the “Door to Isan.” Its economy has traditionally depended heavily on agriculture. The province is known for processing rice, tapioca, and sugar. The neighboring province of Lop Buri is known for the Pa Sak Jolasid Dam, the largest reservoir in central Thailand.
